I started with a cheeseburger with the works and onion rings. The burger was not your usual piled high made to order burger that you can't get your mouth around. It was more like a Whopper- flatter and easier to bite into. It was also pretty greasey.

Kopp's Frozen Custard, Jumbo Burgers in Milwaukee

I subscribed to your feed quite a while ago (I was brought here by your pot stickers recipe), but it was quite jarring to spot that Kopp's sign on my Bloglines.com page. My parents' house is one mile west there. I've been out of Wisconsin all summer (I attend the university at Madison), so it was great to see something that I associate with home! I hope you enjoyed your visit in Wisconsin, but I'll be back there by this time next week.

my friend dan who took us there grew up a few blocks away in whitefish bay. he gave us a tour of his old neighborhood after our stop at Kopp's.
Kopps has the best custard and hamburgers in the Milwaukee area. Check out their review on http://bestburgersinmilwaukee.com/
